Default Tuner help please....

Got 30 minutes away from my tuners shop with the new mods and tune and I'm getting the following codes:

P0140 Heated O2 sensor circuit insufficient activity Bank 1 Sensor 2-B

P0160 Heated O2 sensor circuit insufficient activity Bank 2 Sensor 2-B

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated....

I have had these codes before.. The issue is that the o2's are not seeing proper temperature due to the lack of cats. Its either that or the o2's are not switching properly with the sims in the rears. One last thought is that you cooked your o2's...

When I had long tubes and no cats and ran n2o, I would go through a set of front o2's every 6 months since I was running rich.

What are your "new" mods?

Is this after installing the long tubes or the nitrous or the Mag?

Or did you just install all of these?

The sensors that are faulting are both back O2 sensors, the fronts are not faulting so if your not running cats maybe your sims are screwed.

Basically the the PCM look at the qty of rich/lean transistions for a given period of time. Often when doing exhaust mods etc the o2 transitions will slow thus throwing the codes. Easily disabled with tuning sw just keep track of the #s

Aftermarket cats huh? Get your tuner to fix it. It's the rear O2 sensors that are not seeing the proper number of transitions in the specified amount of time. Common codes to see with aftermarket cats.

The headers, cats, pulley and nitrous are new. Thanks a bunch for the info. The tuner that did the work is no longer there so one of the owners is supposed to retune it for me.
