Will we be able to get bracket's to hold an ATI still? If not,can I buy the rest you have? Nothing personal but I just don't like the power range of the Vortech's

I talked to Andy a week or two ago and he mentioned that he would continue to make brackets for the ATI head units for those who want them.
Looks Awesome Andy!!!!
BTW, I'm still looking for a F1R and updated A&A bracket if anyone is looking to upgrade to the new Vortech bracket and head unit. Send me a PM if so.
Looking good! Glad to hear that the positioning is even better than the ATI.
I too am curious how the lubication will be handled. Particullarly the drain. I know Doug (@ ECS...duh) posted something about a dipstick adapter. That would be super not to have to drill into the pan.

Last I talked with Andy he was looking at making it (Vortec Head unit) a self contained lubrication setup . Will have to see if this works out. I talked with my tuner Friday and I mentioned this concept to him. He thought it would be no problem and wondered why this was not done a long time ago. My tuner also mentioned using a small pump and a seperate tank for the oil.
This waiting is making me crazy. (2 months now.)

The top of the blower is almost a half inch lower than the Procharger was. NO hood rubbing at all. The inlet is 1 3/8" higher. There's much more clearance going over the top of the radiator. That part will be much easier.
8 Ribs will fit without any problems. The spacers are just .300" longer and the adjustable tensioner will be a little different.
The T trim, YS , JT etc should all fit just fine.
I have one of each to try.
It's amazing how well you get a kit to work and how many years Pro Charger has been around and still have not got it right yet.
So with a Vortech, you don't have to pin the crank? Could you Please explain why, because I know nothing about them.
Also, what are the advantages of a Vortech/Paxton over a ProCharger?
Thanks
Sorry to hi-jack your post Andy!
Sorry for the badly worded post. You still have to pin the crank (should have been done by GM at the factory ). I was just saying that compared to pinning the crank, tapping an oil pan is a walk in the park
I will definately still have changeover kits for the Procharger units. There are still a bunch of Prochargers out there that need upgrading.
You definately have to pin the crank with all the blowers.
The advantage of the Vortech is the company itself. Much easier to deal with.

I agree that what they did to you was wrong, and won't buy a ProCharger for just that reason, but other than the company, which is a better blower and why? I'm asking for no other reason than to learn and try to educate myself. I'd like to go FI in the future and with all of the options, I'd just like to make the right choice.
Are the Vortechs/Paxtons quieter, and which blower would be similar to a P1SC, and which one is similar to a D1SC? How will your new Vortechs be priced compared to your old ATI systems?
