Boost Controllers.. what are you using?

I like the HKS EVC and the Greddy PRofec B Spec.

A blitz has also been recommended.

I also saw the Eboost2.

What are you using?

Blitz SBC ID is what I usually install and use myself.

The I-color is new and has some neat new stuff integrated.

Glenn, Can you change your I Color to PSI from Bar or hkpa?

$140 STS Mechanical Boost Controller w/electric switch next to traction control button. Advertised to put 0-15# back on top of wastegates.

I don't want a mechanical boost controller.. they work great.. I used one in my Typhoon.. I want something more adjustable on the fly.

This will be the unpopular choice, but I like my Hallman Pro manual boost controller. I find there's no real need for me to adjust boost up and down while inside the cockpit and I've never had a problem with the manual controller under or over-boosting.

It also takes about 10 minutes to install.

I run the Blitz ABC - same as Phil, Vetzilla, and Earl. I figured if I got the same one as everyone else it would be easy to get help figuring out how to use it.

Okay after looking at various review, etc.. it looks like the Blitz SBC ID is what I like... many here using it.

What is the cheapest place some have found..
I have it for $525 with shipping.. any other better than that?

I now these work perfectly as well.. used to use a manual and the DSM guys I know use these Hallman's. They even have one with a cable that runs into the car now for adjustment from inside. They are cheap too... but I figure for the jack I am dropping on the setup and the engine.. I want an electronic one.

Best price on Blitz Turbo Boost Controller (SBC I-D) I've been able to find is from http://turboimport.com/catalog/electronics.htm. I think I paid $464.

I have STS's manual one. Funny thing is they don't recommend I install it. Say a car's tune is optimized for a single boost pressure ... say 6 lbs for their kits. If I crank up the boost to say 7lbs ... they claim my tune won't be clean and might not run as well as at 6 lbs.

Still trying to figure out why they sell them.

Had the Apexi..................Junk. Now have the HKS - fabulous! Dead bone simple to adjust - even on the fly.

Which HKS do you have?

The SBC iD is discontinued according to the guy at turboimports.com

The i color is what he recommended.
