Top speed
165 mph in the C5 M6 vert....ran out of room. Time seems to stand still, but the scenery flies by.....
JB, you run out of room or what? You got enough power to go over 200 mph, no?

I would guess I've seen 160. The car was still pulling real hard at that speed, but I have no desire to see what it will do on the top end. I would guess that many of the cars here could easily go over 200mph with a little ductape work.

This season I'll top her out.
I have done 186 on my 04 Yamaha R1!!
That was all she had!
Pulled strong from there on up to 160 ... when I backed off.
I'd say she has an easy 200 in her reach. Just waiting for right conditions to see.

Still .... I'll let JBS go first ... and tell us it is safe to go into the twilight zone.

I didnt know that was really possible, or safe. Does anyone actually know what speed 5th gear will pull to with 3.42's and the right hp at 6k rpm? Or even 6500?
JBS?

And 197-198 in a vert with the top down, who does that!?!?!?!!? I was going to call it
And Black Magic, I didn't know that was safe, just under 200mph isn't safe on any streetable car on streets!
Just messin with ya. How I look at it is in a car, at anything over say 120, you stand a very poor chance of coming out of it alive. So from 120 up it's the same end result if anythig went wrong! If you're gonna do the 120, might as well go the whole way!!

184 mph on the dyno - have the video of that too

F/I numbers coming soon
