Finally after many months of waiting I have experienced boost via an ECS Paxton. Sweet. The only thing that kinda spoilt the fun was the car going into reduced power mode with Service Active Handling come on. First time I forgot the traction control on. Next time though I have no idea why it came on since the trac control was off ? . Second time I went up to 230 ish kph ( very fast I might add ) . The reduced power mode stayed on and didn't go off despite me turning the ignition off then on ( this got rid of it the first time ) . Also note that rpms would stick up at 2kish ( Is it the TB is stuck /open ? ) . So finally I remembered to clear codes . PCM Code 0068 I think ? or 0096/8 not sure.. But after I cleared it car ran normally. Didn't floor it again though after that. Codes didn't re
-appear as well. I did give it some boost sub 5 psi but it was ok. The second time boost was in the 6 to 7 region.

Any ideas ?
Congratulations!
The problem is in your in tune, send us your file and we can take of it for you. Or we can just tell you what to do over the phone.
Congrlations on the boost and those guys should be in the office it is almost 11:00 am
Thanks I just called them . Turns out there is an issue with the tune . Thing is I am running in SD mode. Maf FQ set to NIL. Codes 102 / 103 Set to No MIL. They will tell me what tables I need to change in Hp Tuners.
My blown 427 (773 RWHP) just did exactly the same thing: big power, big wheelspin, then the "service traction system, reduced power" message.
I'm passing thsi string along to my tuner.
"code 0068 is set if pcm detects too large a difference between maf airflow and sd calculated airflow. Appears to be specific to 2004 model. Also an improperly installed tb sensor can set code"
I had the same problem when I first switched to an SD tune. I'm not familiar with the HPTuners suite but it looks like you've found the right table. In EFILive the table is called ECT Predicted Airflow {C6101} and it plots airflow in mg/cyl on a grid of Throttle Opening% vs. RPM. I was told to scale the whole table by 200-300% which eliminated the P1514/reduced power problem for me.
