How long is your driveway if you been averaging 31.1 mph in it???
Rick
He has a circular driveway. I've heard he's been driving on it for hours, upshifting, then downshifting, then upshifting, then downshifting again... to pretend he's at the track.
His neighbors have also reported hearing what sounds like Mark's voice trying to impersonate high engine RPMs.
We have a protoype 427 TT from LPE that John(RIP) made from a Z06 clutch.9,000 miles of bite without a slip only 1 time pedal stuck to floor fo 30 minutes,on a 115 Deg.day.It never repeated itself.
My husband Dave at Xtreme may pull the bill for a part#,if it exists he only made several.
They were in the 2500.00+ range but all who drive it are amazed its not broke nor feels worn at all, stock pedal pressurse
I picked up my car earlier tonight and all I can say is wow. The partial throttle acceleration is incredible. You can just start to ease into the throttle and instantly see 5-6 #'s of boost. The spool is awesome!!.
I would also like to extend a special thank you to RoadRebel / aka Dr. Phil for all of his work and patience with my car. Everything came together beautifully.
After having three different combos (ProCharger, TT's with an M6 and stock motor, and now TT's with a forged motor and an auto) I finally have the perfect combo for my needs.
Cheers,
Mark
What's next .... a sex change ? Everyone knows car makers put in the autos for the ladies.
Can you road race the auto tranny and be competitive? Or is it just good for straight line performance? Does it downshift like a regular auto tranny or do you have to do something special? How is the fun factor compared to a 6 speed?

No, to the first question.
It will not go to limit (consistant reliable fast laps) road racing with a good driver. Even a six speed may need a pump and cooler. It is also heavy in comparision. The lightest to my knowledge for road racing, is a Jerico (about 6K), which is what LG uses.
Excellent for short sprints if set-up correctly.
It can be programmed and is dependant on converter.
Fun factor is REALLY subjective to user and situation.
Have you had a chance to get your 408 to the track? If not then that sorta explains why you haven't grenaded anything in the driveline yet.
Been to the track twice and both times it started raining while in the line to start. The owner of the track told me to stay away , something about my good fortune and it's impact on the other cars .
