If someone knows you have nitrous already, then it's not problem if you use it when racing unless you have agreed before hand that you would not use it.
If you have no idea who this person is and just run into each other without discussing mods RUN WHAT YA BRUNG.
But why would you lie after you have won the race already. Pretty pathetic if you ask me. Not good sportsmanship. I would be willing to bet all the folks in here talking about run what ya brung, dont tell them what you got etc etc are the street racers, because #1 Most bets occur on the street #2 You are more likely to get hustle there. The two main reasons I race at the track and more importantly, the road course. Bring that POS nos bottle to the road course and see where it gets you.
So a nitrous setup is a POS? Buddy, I know of quite a few people who have nitrous setups more expensive than blowers/turbos.
I have no problem with someone using nitrous as long as they are honest about it.
Nitrous is good for a quick drag but would never last for a long run unless you had some pretty big tanks.
I personally would not use nitrous because I think it shortens the life of the motor substantially given the research and threads I have read about nitrous motors.

What is that a 10,000 shot? A POS is a 500 kit people go buy to street race with and when you tell em to come to the track the excuses start pouring in. Doesnt matter even if it's a drag strip they wont go. So to me their car is a POS, their motor is a POS, their bottle is a POS, also applies for turbos and S/C.
I guess my point is that the POS is the mindset that wants to bet a bunch of money to hutsle people and have elaborate street racing guilds but refuse to even consider a track. May have come out the wrong way, though I still hate nitrous.

Actually you can spend 6k easy on a nitrous setup. Direct port, stand alone, gauges, fpss, wot, window switch, dual staged, install. But so let me get this straight, if someone hustles someone on the street, their car is a pos? Also, why do you hate nitrous?

I think its quite obvious by his attitude that he got hustled by someone with nitrous.
The guys that get their azzes handed to them by nitrous cars use the cheater thing as an excuse for getting beat in there big $$ modded cars to keep at least a little pride.

if my car is faster than yours than its faster than yours. if its a street race its fair game. no cheating....this isnt sanctioned drag racing, its street racing for god sakes. run what ya brung and hope its enough
