Default TTi tuning help ??? NEWB!

Finally got my turbos on my car , 2 day project YEAH RIGHT !02 Z06 with an early style small TTi kit,42 lbs injectors, stock LS6 engine. Of course since its not tuned at all yet,it runs horrible, comes on boost and dies(just a short/gentle test drive as I do not want to hurt anything) HPtuners should be here tomorrow,Does anyone have any hints/tricks to get me in the ballpark so the car is drivable and I can move forward from there ?Also, should I replace the MAP with a 2bar one ? Thanks for any help,I did a search and cannot access the HPtuners tuning files until I have my product ID or serial #. Any direction/help will be greatly appreciated ! OH,and did I mention what a royal pain these are to install with engine in the car, that wont happen again !

Yeah,I knew it wasnt gonna be too easy but I am not sure I EVER want to remove/install/touch the pass side turbo again ! Now that its together,I am anxious to load a tune and go to work getting it running good.Reading all the posts from the big boys running finely tuned combos whether they be twin turbo or SC setups has got me excited.I wanna play too, just have to start out small, this will be a good learning exp right ?

Stage I derivative stuff is a pain in the *** for sure. The X kit is actually much easier to install and the turbo are moved back etc.

As for your other problem, email me your bin file and motor information etc and I will edit it and give you something to start with .

put the stock fuel injectors back in and disconnect the wastegates to prevent boost until you're able to tune it. Your fuel delivery is all wrong.

Looks like you're in great hands now..

Congrats on getting the install done. Once you get the tune squared away it'll be a blast from there!!!

I stuck it in the garage until I get it tuned,I cant do much without the software and the car is just a weekend play car so I dont need to drive it til I get it sorted out. I will PM you(Phil) to discuss details on this as soon as my pkg arrives from HPT. Thanks !
