150 shot my ***..................................... ..........................
Don was waiting on for ETP heads (along with everyone else in North America)... Take another look at the video and you will see the front wheels coming up on the launch and back up again around the 60 foot mark... it's pretty obvious he's on and off the throttle combined with the fact that the car went 139 with a 100HP shot and 137 with a 200HP shot... your cousins car is still one of the fastest IRS C5's in the world holding the record for the longest time (9.2)... but motor to motor, Don's car is quicker... which makes sense because it's based on newer and better technology (LS7 vs LS6)... if we put Don's motor in your cousins car that would be another story
I honestly don't think you will be able to run as quick as Don NA, even with a cam and as much nitrous as you want to spray! Where did you run 10's?
Anyways... talk is cheap... if you think you got what it takes to hang with Big Boys, come down here and show us what you got...

I am not suggesting that i run 9s but i do think that i can take out most of the 10 second guys down there. When i do run better i am sure the excuses will be coming.. and i will be doing that with a stock motor with a small cam and 150 shot..see u guys in the spring..

My car was a while in the making...thanks to ETP taking a while to get the heads to us, whats that have to do with anything other than a lack of time to get the car dialed in. BTW...I wasn't on and off the throttle, it was on and off the micro switch on the first 200 hp shot pass.
I have been at TMP with Dom and he is a great guy, but I would like to ask has that car ever gone 10.2 na? ever? When it ran the big numbers it was a shop car running on direct port and regular tranny re-builds, has it ever copied those accomplishments? Not knocking Dom's awesome car but compare a car to a car not to a shop car that gets regular rebuilds and 400hp shot direct port runs.
If I had more than 2 weeks to get used to my car and work with it I'm sure that with a 250 shot I would have been in the bottom 9's. Next summer will tell the story though.
Doms' car ran 10.00 @ 140 mph at the worst track ever here in ottawa. You are right the car has never gone 10's NA. Went 9.6 @ 148mph the last time out with a 1.59 60ft. That was on used Et Streets and 17 chromes up front and a 300 shot. Car has ran great for the last 3 yrs he's owned it. Only broke the tranny shaft months back.
Car would run low9's with hook.

I am already looking forward to next summer... hopefully some of the big talkers here will be able to make it to the track!
From what I heard mitymikec's car only ran high 10's once @ Napierville on a day with crazy DA and tail wind... that track is always 6-8MPH fast... I went 9.6@147 there with a 150HP shot
If mitymikec does not want to come to TMP, we can always go to meet up with him at Napierville... I am sure Dom will be happy to join us!

I will be down next year with no excuses, i never do. I went 10.7 with stock everything right down to the exhaust manifolds. Doing a full exhaust and cam and more spray isn't gonna gain me much????????
Don's car hooks up great but i think Dom still has him covered.

Just to clear something up..My cousin DOM is a hater most of the time. I drove 600 km to and from the track and ran 10.9 on the same tires i drove up with. Drag radials with 15000 km on them. I have 8 10 second passes. Napierville only is fast when Doms car isn't there. If u want the truth just ask me. The tail wind day the car went 10.9@131mph which wasn't my best pass. That was with a stock converter. went back up with the 3200 stall and ran 10.7 @130mph

Dom and Don will have the 2 quickest C5's in the country (they already do!)... you on the other hand, I suggest rethinking who does your motor for you...

Dom will be coming down to Toronto now for everything cause i am no longer helping him with that car, even if it's to install a radio..lol

Well Dave built Dom's motor and the car went 9.20 years ago. Daves gone now and someone right out of grade 10 mechanics class most likely built Dons motor and still can't go faster with bigger cubes and ETP heads compared to stock ported heads. Great driving Don

Just to let you know... 10.9@131 at Napierville is 11.1@125 at TMP...
The stories about how old your tires are, how stock your car is, how small your nitrous jets are or how tame your converter is don't mean diddly... the only thing that counts is the little slip of paper you pick up at the end of the 1/4...
Here's how my car ran at Napierville earlier this summer... Autoworx 427 A4 tranny 3400lbs... check out the video 10.4@136 1.51 NA and 9.6@147 1.46 150HP Nitrous... imagine how my motor would run in a well prepped lightweight C5?!?!

So far Dave could not get a single car to track all season... when he doubted my NA times or the amount of spray I was using I invited him to the track and he did not have the ***** to show his face... best of luck dealing with Dave... trust me, you will need it!

Just wanted to let you guys know i'll be heading down with Mitymike come the 2007 season to show you all what happens when small time Ottawa guys come up against big time Toronto inspired by Autojerx.
These Autojerx guys have a LOT of people brainwashed.....tens of thousands of dollars for nothing but "HIGH HP" dyno queens that couldnt make a pass to reflect thier dyno numbers if thier lives depended on it.
Stop looking at your dyno slips & start running the cars.
I've been in this game for a few short years, do 99.9% of the work on my car right here in Ottawa, outside with hand tools. This goes for myself and Mitymike...
It's funny to see these Autojerx guys talk such a big storm & produce anything BUT decent results.
I would LOVE IT if you guys could put together some fast streetcars & we can come on up there & run 'em.
As far as im concerned, Autojerx is solid if you want to spend $30K and run 10's......Some of you should pm Mitymike & maybe he'll give you a cheaper recepie
WADE, I TOOK YOUR FORMER CAR THE ***** OUT THIS YEAR, LAST YEAR, AND THE YEAR BEFORE. I KNOW YOU READ THIS.....REMEMBER in '03 ON YOUR WEBSITE...YOU SAID I WOULD BE WEARING DIAPERS WHEN THAT BAD CORVETTE CAME OUT...NOTHING BUT BABIES BOTTLES FOR YOU WADE. WHEN YOU TALK TO MR. Z, ASK HIM WHO THIS "YOUNG PUNK" IS THAT'S BEEN FEEDING IT TO HIM YEAR AFTER YEAR
after winter can someone repost some of this smack talk ....TILL YA CAN RACE ...WE HAVE THE FASTED C5 STREET VETTE'S IN CANADA...9.7 ET ..STREET TRIM.. average vette maybe 10.s but the fast one's 9's..next year ...:

This car is not a vette but a true street car on that runs 9.5's @ 153mph ! Small block 400ci with twin turbo blow throughs. Stock suspensioned 81 camaro of all things. This car could be a daily driver if need be and sees lots of regular miles on the street weekly.
