Instead of modding how/where the fog lights mount, why not mod the piping around them for clearance. IIRC, you said the BOV sections were what was interfering. If that's the case, that should be a pretty easy workaround I would think to relocate those a little bit.

This just hit me as I've been reading...a most likely exspensive, yet workable fix might be a ring of LED's to go around the opening.

Bright and angled right you could mimic the fog light look and still allow air in.

If you move them in front of the rad/cond you block the bottom half of airflow and basically cut half of or eliminate the plastic rad. shroud, I set the tubing up that way to see how it looked

another downfall of positioning the filters in there would be water ingestion

alright, back to work for me

Oh, so it's the air filters that's cauing the clearance issues???

Water ingestion??? This is a non-rain car now.

Just keep my fogs, that's all I ask. As long as they're in, look like they do when the car was stock, and function, I'll be happy.

First off the facory fog lights do absolutely nothing. Instead of paying labor to find a work around for keeping them, just put in some Piaa 1100x fogs and be done with it. You will have more light and they "DO" fit.

That makes sense, I believe they used a c5 z06 from A&A to do a final mock up. (no fogs in a z)
