If you are splicing the connectors on to plug into a Racetronix harness how do you know which connector goes on which wire coming out a KB BAP since both wires are red?
And....I believe A&A's instructions say to twist 2 wires together instead of using the control box? So I'm assuming doing this makes it a full 50% voltage increase all the time no matter what. Is this wise to do it this way and how most c5/c6 owners do it? I cant see actually doing it this way cause most cars wont need the full voltage increase.

You want to take the **** off that is for the adjustment and cut the connector off of it and solder those two wires together. I usually cut them off about 6-8 inches from the box, solder them and the tape or shrink wrap them back with the other wires that lead to the Hobbs switch. And you absolutely want to do this. The thing is only on at WOT in boost, you are installing it get the kick, might as well get ALL of the kick.
If you don't know which wires go to which, it tells you in the instructions with the BAP, I don't remember off of the top of my head but can go out and pull up the instructions and tell you.
Man you guys on here are the greatest for information and such. So the adjustment **** is a throw away item then. I was just going to use it to get my fuel pressure up to where it needed to be as it might not need a max turn of that ****.
This is why some people have told me its absolutely necessary to get a re tune as they also must not be using the **** feature to vary voltage.
Thanks! That's where I think I will try to mount mine this Saturday. Do you have the Racetronix harness in your car too? That is what I will be installing, and need to make sure the sires will reach the connectors.
I just put my harness in today and it took only 15 minutes from tire off to back on.. Waiting for BAP to get here now and then be done with it. I love PnP things!
I did not use any of the included dielectric grease though supplied with the harness. I guess I could have put some on the plug ends just in case before I plugged the harness in to stock connectors. Probably not a big deal though as Ive never used that stuff in the last 35 years on any electrical connections..

How did you route the harness to the alternator? Did you go over the tunnel plate, or another route? 15 minutes is very fast! I hope to do mine Thursday night.

I went through the rocker panel with it as that was the easiest. Taped the alternator end to a tape measure and pulled the the tape out as I pushed it though the rocker panel from back to front and grabbed it easily under the brake booster area when it hit the end. I also dont have the rubber shield in my fender extractor so I could reach right in through there to untape it from the tape measure and then grab it from under the hood. If your rubber shield is still in the fender extractor I think it will still push all the way through.
