TTi Ductwork?
Does anyone know if there is a different way to run the ductwork from the air cleaner to the turbo on the passenger side? The problem seems to be when you make a full turn to the left the wheel rubbs the piping in the wheel well. I guess potentally it could wear a hole in the pipiing.

Didnt they come out with a revised pipe a while back? I could be wrong, but I swear they corrected that problem

On my 02 Z it rubs just "slightly" under full left lock.pipe is positioned as per latest install instructions as posted on TTi forums.You really cant move it around too much anyway,wont attach to the other pipes cleanly.One other thing I noticed,ride height seems to affect how much it rubs as well,again only slightly,mine is about 3/4 below stock on stock bolts.

I know, don't turn it full lock!
My Z06 with factory alignment is wacky anyway when turning at full lock. It must be the aggressive alignment, as I've noticed it on others too.
I haven't messed with mine much, but learned to get along with it. If I watch the steering wheel, it will go one full turn without touching. It will only go another 1/4 turn to full lock, and that is the range I avoid. I could maybe fix it more, but it hasn't been enough of a problem for me to bother.
Here's some other info from my install that might help, if this hasn't already been done. This was provided by BLOWNZO6:
"..you can buy yourself a lot of space on the passenger side by trimming this plastic here where the pipe passes by this flap... buys you about 1/2" easy."

I did trim mine,as well as positioning it as close to preferred as shown in pics/past installs as well.It DID give me more room,as I said,I am used to it,barely rubs at full lock. I would rather have it rub slightly than have rubber sewer hoses for intake

I seem to remember that on the ZO6 the factory did something to limit the steering lock to keep the wider tires from rubbing so if you have the wider tires on a non ZO6 rubbing could be more of an issue. Also my swaybar is not the same as the one shown in the instructions. It mounts above the A arm so there is less clearance there. What I'm wondering how much needs to be trimmed off the area where it passes through the opening for the brake duct. The instructions mention some "minor" trimming of the panels but it looks like quite a bit needs to come off of the inside edge of the opening.
