If i'm not mistaken, the regulator is supported by a special bracket thats mounted somewhere around the master cylinder or brake booster. So there shouldnt be any stress or sagging on the lines..
I'm not 100% sure though.
You are correct! I can almost hang off of it. The bracket is pretty sturdy. I don't think there is anything to worry about.
Guys, I wasn't concerned about the FPR and its mount... just the potential fatigue at the schraeder valve on the fuel rail from the fact that the FPR is remotely mounted and will not move with engine torque over. Its probably no big deal... I just raise the awareness for people to think about it I like the fact that this kit is a simple non-invasive setup. I assume no check valves are needed because the big pump acts as a check valve when not running(?). I've been thinking about adding some more fuel to my truck... and maybe have the return at the tank filler neck. That would eliminate the need to drop my tank again... and not screw with modifying the factory lines / sender bulkhead.
good find Bill, correct the pump acts as a ck pump and there is also a seperate Earl's ck valve prior to the pump, you can see the ck valve in the pics at the pump; not sure on the status of the red Z(Doug's car)
