Default gotta problem...

i cannot make over 9 psi of boost....cannot load the motor...lack of traction. beat nitto dr tires and cold air ain't helping

i know that there's been alot of talk about large cubes motors vrs small cubes and i have to admit that i didnt see the need for large cubes but not so sure about that now! its so nice, the part throttle torque its intoxicing.

well sorry for trying to make u spend more money but....oh btw i ll be hittin the dyno this weekend..........what cha think ill make?
going to push it to 20psi!

I have never been in a small cube turbo car.. but i can say my 402 hits hard without any boost .. and with boost i load max psi top of third.. with the cold air and the nitto's ..does not help at all..

Im going out on a limb , you have an auto? soooo... 20psi (no cheating has to be 20psi) 903 .. if its a mustang dyno then 845.

what day are you taking her?

its tenative saturday.

i guess what we need to keep in mind is that with a large motor it allows u to get a little nutz w/turbo selection. wont be penalized so bad if u go large.

I am not even sure what size motor or turbo chargers hes using. I believe its a 427 with twin 60's ? I am sure with the proper tune and 20psi, he will break 1000.

I agree!! i would love to see nick crack 1000rwhp.. the problem is he runs 9's with 6xx rwhp..so dyno numbers dont mean dick to an auto and sick boost.

it will be down to 1/4 mile times.. which would be 9.10 at 155+

It'll break the 1000, I just about gurantee it!! I'm saying 1072. It made over 800 before and it has way better heas, better intake, better turbos and plenty more cubes!!! Not to mention 2 more psi of boost and cooler temps!!! Nick's going huge!!

I have no idea how many lb/min your turbos flow, but using internet math... a 427 has roughly 450whp and 14.5psi on an efficent setup equals about a 100% increase in HP. If you are running 20psi then I'm going to go out on a limb and say your break 1000whp and your TQ will not be far behind.

How much of that you will actually be able to use is a different question all together

hey lb....

yeah 427 approx 9.0:1 trick flow heas from TEA inconel valves, cam motions 234 231 59X turbos are turbonetics E cover w/66 compressor, .81 AR with F1 turbine. this thing pulls WAY harder then last set up..not even close!

Yeah I tested the limits the other day it was about 40 degrees, and romped it from 65mph as soon as I hit boost = sideways. I think anything under 70 degrees on Nittos it's useless, and around 40 degrees forget it!
