Well got off the phone with T.J. with Rpm. Going ahead and biting the bullet and getting her converted. I am stoked. They are even working with me on getting her picked up these guys are awesome I will miss my m12 but not the slipping clutch Any recommendations on rearend gears. I have 3.73's now making 850-890rwhp. Thinking about going back to 3.42 plan on dragging it regularly. Thanks
RPM is an excellent bunch, youll love the quality and service ......
Hey yes that was my car, that was when i had a d1 with 650rwhp. Now i have an f1r 14-15lbs boost it made 890rwhp 816 rwtq, with 93 octane, torco and methanol through high flow cats. I havent made a clean pass with this setup. I have had alot of belt issues (my install) then clutch slipping. I mainly only go on corvette events at Bowling Green. It trapped mid 130's with 650 rwhp should be in the 140's somewhere now

Yes they seem like a great group to work with, i am looking forward to it. There reputation here is awesome so i had to go with them I see people like you, stealth, Mark, the other Nick, Robbie and others that race there cars and there trannies hold. I know its a big difference from beating on it on the street with street tires, and taking it to the track with slicks. RPM's are track proven so that's good for me

HEY CHECK THIS OUT...
i recently sent my spare level V tranny to the guys so that they could go threw it. now keep in mind it was in pefect working order when it came out. anyway the tranny had 13-15 k hard miles on it and when it was pulled apart all they found was a little wear on the 3>4 clutch pac!!! now either they build a bad azz tranny or i can tune the sh*t out of it.

what kind of clutch were you running.
I think I remember you vid too, thats the one with the JAWS music playing in the begining. car sounded sweet, I'm sure it will RIP with an auto.
I'm suprised it slipped on you, that is the same clutch I'm running. I think the TQ rating on the street twin is 950. I know they have another option with different discs that is reported to hold 1200+wtq.

Well i think it has been reliable. I beat on it on the street drag radials for over a year and went to the track a few times with slicks, 4g clutch dumps 1.5 60's just never made a full clean pass so i am not dissappointed in the clutch. I am just going to give the auto a try
you will be a happy man get that car done and come help me beat tony in the blue viper if he can be beat
LOL man i dont think Tony is beatable..lol Go fast and he goes alittle faster He is a great guy though I am definately going to head up there again to hang out once i get it back
