My MPS 345/30/19's have a 27.4" OD and they occasionally rubbed even with Lingenfelter Mini-Tubs. Now with my flared rear quarters & 3/4" spacers all is cool. Offset is critical

Scotty,
I assume those rims are true Z06's and if so, do your front tires rub at all? 275/30/18 in front?
Not trying to hijack here.
RJW, my car is also tubbed and the MPS 345's rubbed on the inside front edge where the frame goes at an angle. 345 is a huge tire. Especially when it grows...BTW also check top clearance as there is only so much especially on a lowered car.

Nemesis, can you fab my splash guards for me..I'm too busy cleaning car for Autorama.
Anyone know the heads up on these Et street radials...and availability??
I am running 12" rims with 335/30/18 ps2's....sticking out, no tubbing.
Think the Mt's will fit without issues??
Thanks
Tires vary by Brand even if they say they are the same size. For example my 335 BFG R1s were diifferent then my Michelin Pilot MMXs and they were different then my Michelin PS, and have noticed that the Toyo's are different as well.
What has been the same is the the same CCW 18x11.5" (I measured 12" with Discount Tire's caliper) using 335/30 on the rears...on two different C5s. With the Z06 having rear brake ducts I had to remove them running the Michelin PS...however with the Toyo Proxes I was able to add them...there is like 1-2mm clearance when sitting on the ground...with the car on the lift they touch..as the geometry changes.
I have also found that it depends greatly on how much negative camber you run. I have kept the same camber setting in the rear..yet I can run my brake ducts with one tire and not the other. Running negative cambers moves the bottom of the tire outward but also moves the top of the tire inward...which means the top of the tire gets closer to the plastic wheel well. I run about .12-.15 negative camber in the rear. Which moves the top of the tire away from the wheel well more then stock, it is better for cornering having the wider tire with negative camber, and also still places more contact patch while driving on the street...which is helpful when you have mover power.
My thoughts are with running a 345/30 that you will certainly hit being taller and wider that any 335/30....I have had differences with different 335s but never 10mm worth. You might be able to adjust your camber to 0.0, but I would not go with positive camber on the rear to avoid rubbing over just running 335s with a touch of negative camber.
Let us know how it works out for you.
