And here I was hoping to get a ride in it when i go on my trip later this year.

Hopefully she goes to a good home.

Ya I haven't even budgeted for tires, clutch, fuel, (or a 402 lol). I'll be fine with a measly 490-510rwhp with a basic kit/perfect tune; right now I think 420rwhp pulls like a raped ape, I couldn't imagine what some of these cars feel like...I might get car sick

Just don't launch or drop the clutch and you'll be fine. Through in a boost a pump and some 36 to 42 pound injectors and you should be fine for awhile.

Toyo RA1's or R888 would be good choices as well as the Nitto's

Thats the problem, Ill get about 1 mpg for the first month or 2 that I have it, so the clutch will be beggin for its life...lol. Ill be getting new tires here soon as I picked up 2 nails in both rear tires...in the SAME day Thinking about the r888, ta1 or vredsteins. I know Ill need a blower cam as I have a lot of lift, not enough exhaust duration, and a low lsa on my current cam (227/231 .613/.617 112+2), so that will come with the blower

Or you could leave in the current cam and use a smaller pulley, that will allow you to ramp up the boost early but not go to high because of the bleed off.

Well just some minor tweaks here:

TFS 235's
Yella Terra Ultralites
FTI custom cam
FTI 3/8's pushrods
PAC Nitrided Pacaloy springs
New 28.5Wx6Hx3.5"D Intercooler
Cartek Flip drive

Just debating if I should get some link-bar lifters

There's some other new goodies but I'll talk about those when I have have some dyno sheets and video in hand

Still debating about returning to 6 speed as well.

Just like the drug commercials used to say........"Just Say No!"

Tell Matt that you changed your mind and would like to drive it awhile, but he's first in line when you really decide to sell her! I'd think that he'd understand! Just a thought that I'd run past him!

You'd get a Yugo and have it tubed, tubbed and probably have a blown Keith Black hemi in it!

I can gurantee you, anytime you are down here, just stop by. I will still have something that you will love to get a ride in. Hell, I will even let you drive it

Oh yeah, the car is going to a VERY good home. I met the buyer personally in Chicago. Not only he is my age, but he is a real gearhead and a enthusiast. I could not have asked for a buyer who would appreciate the car as much as I do! Hell even his driving style and goals with the car is similar as mine

Bro I know I just can't believe it happened. Trust me I did not even put it up for sale officially. Like I said, something went wrong with my brain. I even did a few more mods after the car got back from Phil in hopes of enjoying it this summer but oh well...

I am happy that the car is going to an excellent home though. Matt will take good care of her. As far as my new project, I think I am going to be driving something ugly and slow this spring

Rob I met Matt in Chicago. He really deserves the car. He waited long enough (7 months to be exact) and kept looking for what he really wanted and I guess he just got really lucky

I still tease him that I may change my mind at the last minute

I am sure he will take good care of her and we will see him posting in the F/I section about his experience

Rob, what's funny is that when I met Nouman last week I told him that if I was in Rob's shoes, I'd be trying to talk him out of it too.

I even told Nouman that my friends were trying desperately to talk me out of selling my blown C4. They said I was giving the car away and that I just got everything working perfectly and should just keep it one more summer.

However, I knew my sights were set higher, on something bigger and better. It's just the way life goes for a gear head, and they still don't understand, but once they see the new car I get they'll forget all about the old one.

Just like whatever crazy fast super beast Nouman gets next.

Not only that, New Lennox is only 30-45 minutes from me. I'll let you drive it. ... (obvious shameless bribe.)

I did get lucky to find someone selling a car that if I had built it, I would have done the exact same things, all the way down to the blacking out of the lower rear fascia.....Well, maybe not the bra, but I understand how rocks kill paint on road trips, and it looks better than painter's tape.

Hey Matt! :

I wasn't trying to talk him out of it because I didn't want you to have her! That wasn't it! I talked to Nouman the day before meeting you and just kind of give him my feelings on him selling her! I didn't want Nouman to regret not driving his car (that he has a small Third World Countries Budget into) before selling it! Heck, he just finished it and the only chance that he had to drive it was in the winter time and I didn't want him to have any regrets selling it!

As far as the money goes, Nouman is a Big Boy and if he wants to sell his car for a dollar, who am I to say? I will go down as saying that you have gotten the deal of the Century on that car! There were no shortcuts taken when building that BEAST!

As far as the Shameless bribe, Thanks for the offer, but as Clint Eastwood once said: "A Man's got to know his limitations!" and I'd be almost afraid to drive that for fear of wrecking it or killing us! I've owned faster cars/bikes than that, but it's been a Long time since driving one, especially when it's not mine!

As far as the next BEAST of Nouman's, I'm calling DIBS on that now (of course, if that's alright with Nouman ) because if this RED ROCKET of his is any indication of what's in store, it's going to be Simply BADAZZ!

If Nouman is Happy with selling his car, then all that I can say is, Please Drive that BEAST Carefully and Be Safe!

No worries mate! I understand completely.

I hear yeah...I tell you what, once I learn how to drive her, I'll hook up with you some time at a M&G and take you for a ride at least.

I most definitely will, and thank you!

Sorry for the hi-jack!

My FI plans probably include a 3.2" pulley and retuning my car to make use of the meth! I never thought that I'd turn my car into a meth head! I've been kicking around an E85 tune too!

Rob I promise you got the dibs on the next one. So what if it's a Yugo. It's coming from me!

Just kidding! Actually, the next one is going to be somewhat different than this last build. I don't want you to mention anything as you and I are close friends and you know more about my plans than anyone else. Sadly, things are not going smooth with the one that I was after (please do not mention who or what) and I am going to be starting out from scratch and Dr. Phil is going to be building it 100%. I am no more after that one as I have changed my plans. I assure you, it is going to be a work of art in a couple years though! A true Gentleman's ride not that this last one was not
