I plead the 5th..I have no clue what your talking about..
BTW, the A4 4L80E conversion i'm in the middle of, has nothing to do with fast times...I just want 30mpg..
BTW, I have argued with Shane for 2 weeks about running higher compression. I want to go on record, I told him NO on 8.5:1!!!!!! I also told him to port his manifold, which he is insistant about not doing..

Roger,
I am squeezing every ounce of porting out off this Inlet manifold. I'm doing some hand blending, and changing the radius of the inside inlet, to make sure you get everything. I think i'm gonna flow tomorrow it before I shoot it out to you..

I think yours had more to do with the "Previous" builder. That was just a nightmare of a motor.. I have a feeling you will be pleasantly surprised with Ed's motor, and the new setup...

8.5 CR seems really really low for the KB though. I had 9:1 and my 2.6 just couldn't make up for it. I ran it at 20# and it took so much HP to turn the blower that it wasn't worth it. I was only in the low 600 to the wheels at 20# with the 2.6 on a forged 346. I backed down to 16# and picked up 35HP to the wheels. Now there could have been motor issues or INTAKE ISSUES (cough, Jeff, cough, intake, cough).
With a solid motor, NEW INTAKE, and around 14 to 16# I hope to make atleast 775rwhp. If not there will be a 2.6 KB for sale really soon.
I agree with the motor issue. I think it will be a whole new ball game this time around. Ed is really taking note of every detail and making sure its done better than it needs to be done. Right now he is looking at what cam to use so if you have an idea feel free to email me. That is why I was asking for the Compresser Map which would be cool to have if you can send it to me.
Well motor is in and all drive line. Most of stuff hooked up. I will probably fire it off tomorrow. I am relocating the coils so will probably take the fenders off and nose. I just like putting the supercharger on and hooking up little things. I am still going to go a fuel system may start on it tomorrow to. I am waiting on fuel pump and hanger from Jeff. Other than that filling with fluids and checking everything should be good to go. The motor has already went 5.60's in the 1/8 mile with a S95 turbo on it low boost and high 9's on wide band. I have a few pics I will post up in a few.
Well guys I worked my *** off today and got alot done. All I am waiting on is the fuelsystem stuff. I got a few pics and to load tomorrow. I relocated my coils and got blower on the motor. Most everything is hooked up. I am looking forward to hearing it run.
Keep the updates coming. I'm trying to get my 408 built and installed before March comes around and I'm thinking about a KB later on down the road when I have the funds for it. So, I'm interested to see how this one turns out. Especially at the track.
