Shane..

Cam sounds great! - I hope we get another Z in the 9's from Arkansas this year!

Be careful with that regulator mounted to the alternator, if you have problems with it there, try to mount it to the brake booster

let me know if you need anything

Nick

oh, I got my license plate in:

Thanks. Hopefully Ed can get me back up and running plus the DoD has been keeping me busy as well. I leave for Sicily on business on Saturday.

Is there a unknown problem with fuel regulator on the alternator?

Maybe just personal pref, but I would think you would want it farther away from heat, and somewhere that didnt vibrate as much as it mounted to the engine or accessories..
IMHO

Here is what I was referring to, it's just a thick piece of aluminum that isolates it from the engine...

I think I read somewhere in this thread you are looking for 800rwhp. Also I believe it said boost referenced, and a KB boost-a-pump. You will be close to max capabilities of the 044 pump with the KB boost-a-pump.
That pump is really to small for this application. Do not be fooled by the physical size differences of the Walbro 255LPH and the 044. In my opinion you would be better off installing 2, 255LPH in tank, and no boost-a-pump, or one of the other vendors high Hp systems.
Good Luck

Well I did install 2 walbro pumps in tank with the boost a pump on one of them. So I should be good to go. I am back at the Hotel now. Stephen is out in my car doing drive ability. He seems like an excellent guy and very knowledgeable @ East Texas Muscle Car . He said he hopes to get some pulls today. Stephen said if not first thing in the morning. Anxiety is killing me. I need a beer.
