coolant temp

Was pretty warm today in Northern Cal, and I was driving maggie in some traffic / A/C on ect and the coolant temp climbed to approx 220, with a/c off and a little freeway driving it went back down to 196 or so.

What is normal / acceptable temp for a warm / hot day?

When is it more than just warm / and go into overheating area?

I believe that from the factory, the second fan isn't programmed to even come on until 235°. 220 won't hurt anything on these engines.
