Anyone upgrade their #4 lines to #8?..before I go drop $150 plus my time on swappin out lines...I'd like some feedback on it...basically is it worth it? Aren't the solenoids' valves smaller than #8....which would bottleneck the n2o before it comes back out into the #8 line then into the air intake?..any feedback is appreciated...btw...I heard this is a somewhat of a "secret" but I figured I'd share it with my bro's...I'm sure its not that much of a secret though....thanks...Paully.
Generally mainlines are -4 AN
Bottle nuts are -4 or -6.
Some upgrade main lines to -6 AN
Solenoid in/out generally are 1/8"NPT threads. Options with the 1/8"NPT threads are usually -4 AN (mainline side) or -3 AN (nozzle side).
Blow down tubes are generally -8 AN.
For the casual user -4 suffice. Hardcore looking to exploit big shots may do the -6 Mainline.
Not worth it, doubt you see any gains from that. Most will do -6 if they are running a big shot (200+), I know a couple guys running 175-200 shots on -4 feed line.
