So we went to the track today with a 408 Nitrous car that my buddy and I have built, the car has a 480 with a 250 shot on it, RPM trans and an HPM built 3.73 diff.
Car went 6.34 at 109.50 today in the 1/8th mile with a 1.42 60'
Backed that up with a 6.34 at 109.22 on a 1.42 60'
Best 60' of the day was a 1.372 but did not get a clean pass.
We were very happy, no broken parts and this picture says it all, looks like air under the LF to me!!!
Only suspension modification is QA1's on all four corners.
that's awesome. I can't wait to try out my QA1s. What settings were you guys using?
that tire is really wrinkling up good. Is that a 28" ET street?
The shocks are at the softest settings front and rear, I can find out specifically but I am sure that is where they were set at.
Those are 26" M&H Slicks, no more ET Streets. They really worked great, the tire would probably be a little better off on an 11 inch or a 11.5 rim but worked very well. It was however moving on the rim, going to decide if he wants to just live with or screw them to the rim. The RH one moved about 1 inch on every pass with a 1.41-1.42 60', if the tire did not move or barely moved the 60' was 1.37X every time. I was very impressed with them overall.
very nice. what stall is in it? trans brake or foot?
That is all foot brake. The car has a Yank 3600 stall Nitrous Converter in it. The car will go about 2200 against the brakes and flashes to about 3800 on the bottle off of the line.

Yep the car should go mid 9.70's on the setup it is on right now. That is leaving with the whole 250 shot. The car really hooked well.
I did shoot some vid with my GoPro from the top of the car... I will post it up when I get a chance.

With that big of a shot and no progressive controller you get a fat spot when it first hits, the car holds right about 11.4-11.6 for length of the run past about 60'.
It is exactly where we want it to be for now. Nice and safe. Car has 20 degrees of timing in it.
Nice runs.I too like my M&H slicks better than the ET streets. They seem to be a little more forgiving and produce more consistent results with my car. I would KILL for your 60 fts ! Awesome !
