Steve is getting better ever day. He was in a great mood today. Walking around and even joking with the nurses. He will probably be there until Monday. He is still using alot of the pain killers. He enjoys the visits, So any locals stop by and wish him well.
As far as what happen, I believe the car just got away from him. It had alot of power for the street. He really does not want to talk much about it. He did not want to see any pictures of what it looks like now. I have what is left of SICK HP in my possession. After he recovers we will decide what to do with all of the useable parts. Please don't bug him about what went wrong--Just wish him good luck with his recovery. THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR WISHING HIM WELL.

He said he blacked out and doesn't remember the accident. He remembers hitting the gas but that's it. Guy behind him said the car drifted onto the shoulder and never straightened out.
I dont know Peter Pan, but I know he has been on here a long time because I have too. And I know what its like to have 5 (Actually 6) busted ribs. Very painful. My prayers to you my friend that you have a full and speedy recovery.
Well steve, are prayers go out to you. Judging by your picture you are as strong as your car (fast recovery). Keep it up. And as far as what happened all that matters is your doing better each day.
Steve is doing much better. They removed all tubes yesterday. It has been a little struggle without the morphine. He is starting to eat some food, jello and juice. I talked to him this morning and he said they might release him tomorrow. I know he is ready to go home. Once he gets settled at home he will get back on the Fourm and update everyone. I am glad he is getting back to the "normal" Steve. I has been a tough week. Lets all wish him well.
