He said he blacked out and doesn't remember the accident. He remembers hitting the gas but that's it. Guy behind him said the car drifted onto the shoulder and never straightened out.
Lack of sleep? "He doesn't want to talk about it". Glad he is o.k.
He is home now and recovering. I am sure he will post sometime soon.
That's good to hear.
If I were him, I would just sleep for awhile. Looks like he got banged up pretty good. I remember when I was in college and got T-Boned, it took me abouty a year before I was right again. The jolt to the brain is the worse.
man that is weird. I was just sitting here a while ago thinking about how dangerous my car is really going to be and then I read this. I think I'll hurry up on the cage.
I'm sorry about the car but glad to hear you're ok.
Did you tell the pretty nurses that you sacrificed your safety and your Corvette for cute puppies in the street? (hope the broken ribs allow for a little chuckle)
Thanks everyone who posted for my recovery. This is my first time feeling well enough to get on the forum. Here is what I remember, I was getting up to speed in either 3rd or 4th gear and then blacked out and woke up in the hospital. Everyone wants to know no DUI.
Thanks to my special wife, my great friends to many to post on and the the public health system that saved my life. University Hospital Surgeons were fantastic putting PP back together. The tramua nurses were just awesome and all those who came to see me at the hospital thanks you helped in my recovery that is still ongoing
