Default Are FI cars more sensitive to weather temp changes?

With the heat caused from boost being a major factor in the computer adjusting timing, I'm wondering if an FI car is more sensitive to weather temperature changes than an N/A car.

Also i'm curious if the boost temp is directly proportional to ambiant air temp or if there is a multiplying factor. (assuming light ~6psi boost)

IMHO I would think that the FI car would be less sensitive to weather with the inter cooler and meth bringing the inlet temps down to a certain level. The blower or turbos are going to heat the incoming air no matter what the temps are outside.Case in point.I have put ram air systems on 11 second or slower GNs.They don't really react to the change. As far as the turbo goes when it's up to full boost it turns cherry red. It's like a blast furnace and even if you shot icicles, into the inlet the air is going to be very hot coming out the compressor outlet. The temp spread between the outside ambient air will be much more then the spread of the temp of the air coming out of the turbo before the intercooler.

Depends on whether or not you're SD tuned. The Maf will help adjust fueling, making adjustments for temp. I ran out of MAF, so I had to go SD. There is no temp adjustments. Whatever temp you tuen it at is the temp it will run best at
As for as performance, cooler air is denser air, so it WILL make more boost= more power, on cool mornings.

what is "SD tuned"?

Speed Density tuned
It flows too much for my MAF to read, so I had to go Speed density. It eliminates the MAF, which normally compensates for warmer or cooler air.

What boost are you running?

Definitely if you are speed density.

SD works great for those people at sea level...not so great for people who live near mountains

Around 10psi

Just added 100% meth and a few more * timing, so I'm in the 700rwhp range.
