I'm on a continuing project that has gone on for some time. I'm not getting the power levels at decent boost levels out of 346 I want with stock massaged heads TT setup. I'm ordering AFR230s which will be massaged and blueprinted. 2.08/1.61 valves. custom springs. Ti intakes. Lite weight SS exhaust. My cam lift is in the 620 range with duration in the 230s. I'm switching out to an LS2 intake and TB. I'm hoping to be able to drop my boost levels and octane to 93 with meth and still make 800+RWHP.

Anyone else running the AFR 230? And would you run T&D rockers looking at 6800 shift 7000 rev limit?

Do most here do the work themselves, or take it to a shop?

I do my own tuning, wrenching and much of my own fab work. I TIG and MIG weld, but have no lathe or mill. That's when it's good to have friends.

In the process of mini tubbing the car now, probably throw a roll cage in it and get two nice brackets for those two blue things sitting in my garage.

Those LED's are pretty cool inside the car, but why do you have to make brackets for them and why only two?

What's even funnier is what you drive vs. where you work.

I do all of my own wrenching but leave the tuning to DP. I'm in the very beginning process of learning to tune. I want to learn to weld asap but all these new learning curves are hard when I'm a full-time graduate student! One day....

Going to finish my car up. Put the clutch in on jackstands in the garage and finish the nitrous kit. I've got everything but the controller and im leaning towards the microedge. Finally got it tuned at GSS on Monday, got taken care of really well by Louis Ghigliotti, the co-owner. Damn balancer popped off on the last run so i put an underdrive on it. What are you doing with your old exhaust bret?

I guess I'm gonna sell it. It's been modified for going over the C6Z stuff and it's only the part over the axles. Let me know if you're interested.
