Decided to go with ETP heads along with 102 intake and ported LS7 TB. Just sent check to builder/tuner. Proprietary springs and hollow stem SS intakes and SS exhausts. Didn't think the worked AFR heads were necesary to get to my goal of 800 HP.

My machinist doesn't.

The problem is not the gears, but the shafts. We have never broken gears on a glide car, but from a C5 diff to the ZR1 diff, the shafts are the same, and thats what we have broken in the past. The 9" set up we are working on has 35 spling axles, should hold some power.

Id like to add a roll bar sometime in the spring.

Anyway, I got the oil pan drilled and tapped with a new fitting for the oil return. I hope my fuel rails show up tomorrow because all my fittings will be here so I can go ahead and get it plumbed up. I don't really see why I can't have the oil pan swapped either.

My wheels came in today for my MT drag radials

Hope its back on the ground and running friday!

Here are a couple new pics:

Having trouble finding a set of 18x10.5's for a decent price. I'm already mini-tubbed so I'm on the fence with just running 305's or having weldcraft widen the wheels when I do get them, and running 345's.

Also got a pulley that's slightly off I figure on the blower side. Thinking about getting A&A's new Procharger bracket. Problem is that'll increase my boost and I'm still on the stock longblock. Even with meth I don't think she'll stay in one piece.

Also looking at adding C6z shocks and swaybars. After that, start saving up for a built drivetrain and forged 402...

I am down for that. I was also thinking if I paid cash that would help too.

Pm me your number so we can try to coordinate that.

Very nice move! you get double the discount if you hit the 2500.00 mark. Wolfe is in Ft.Worth TX, so Corvette 8189 will be able to go pick his up to save on the shipping. It's a damn big box and heavy too.

Widen them, take pictures, tally the cost and make a thread on it all.

...only because I plan to do the same when my back tires need replacing.

It's not my style to make threads about mods that a hundred other people have done before me. Now maybe if I had a built 427 with a YSI it would be different.

Bret- I hope you like the sound of a 5.0 Foxbody because that's what these Magnaflows sound like...Hopefully the pitch will change a little bit after some heat cycles.

I appreciate the heads-up, but I have heard this exhaust from inside the car and outside and in no way did it ever sound like a stang or even close. Maybe it's been through enough heat cycles.

Here's what it sounds like.

HAHA well I haven't stuck the gas pedal to the floor yet, but sitting inside the car my first impression was damn this sounds like fox-body. All in all I like it over the Corsa Extremes.
