Meth is a no brainer if you have a competent tuner. If my meth ever fails and iats get to high my timing go to basically zero to help save the motor. I wouldn't boost a car without meth and the only meth kit that should be used the Julios/alky control/ecs

This is the same way I am set up also. Plus Julios is one of the best vendors in here. From what I have seen always willing to help whom ever it is, and more than not for free. I know he has p.m. me and got me back 100%. Months back I p.m. him on a rubber for my meth pump and he sent me one... One heii of a vendor and car guy to me.... Robert

Me too. Dead battery can do something to the controller. Disconnect battery, charge, reinstall and all is good.

When it pumps out you will see the meth light on. Not a common problem.

Normally open closes contact when you press them. Normally closed are shorted until they are pushed.

Not just because of that. I just like to keep it simple as I can.

Not using meth on a boosted car is a No brainer for me. If u have a good tuner u want have a problem not running meth. Ive been boosted for a long time and never had a problem. But everybody has different ways of doing things I just dont like having more things on there that can go wrong.

And Im not saying it dont work I just go about it a different way!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For those of us who are greedier with boost, timing, making HP.. Or have issues like low octane available to us aka 90 as Premium.. the only option is race gas or meth.

When your at 500 RWHP and have 93 octane.. run low timing.. why should there be an issue. The only issue is 500 gets old and you want 600.. then 700.. then 800.. as you keep upping the bar you will get to the limits of pump fuel quickly.

Then this thread starts.. I need meth or race gas. And the guy wanting 800 on 90 octane can "tune" around the situation.

So it is what it is. Having/not having the option has its issues.

I might as well say.. Thats why I dont run a boosted car so I dont have to deal with all this stuff

A competent tuner will also understand that you can only back off the timing so much before you overheat your cylinders. Everything changes when you're running a stock motor as well. It's good insurance regardless.
