I am in no means against pure meth. It is really a matter of long road trips and I didn't know how it would be to travel with pure meth in any location other than my WW tank. I also have the snow kit which I think is fine with pure meth but I am not certain. Does pure meth allow more timing? Where is the power boost coming from?

I've been on longs trips, and never needed to refill the meth tank. However, if I needed to I'd get a bunch of bottles of HEET (yellow bottle).

Its coming from cooler IATs which means you can put more timing and or boost before knock is seen. Since knock is just a premature combustion due to high cylinder temps anything you do do to decrease cylinder temps; meth, race gas will help.

Typically when you increase boost while using meth you are "meth dependent" because you really can change boost on the fly.

When you tune a car to have more timing while on meth you are "meth independent" because the computer pulls just enough timing to prevent knock while your off meth.

On a road trip I took I brought a 5 gallon drum secured in the trunk via bungee chords

Water Injection is most efficient with a 50/50 water alcohol (or methanol) mixture.

Denatured (ethanol) alcohol, typically 95% pure, is available in paint, hardware, and Home Depot type stores in gallon containers.

Denatured alcohol also has a higher octane rating 129 vs 123 respectively.

There is something in the VP M1 meth like a lubcricant that is recomended for our pumps. I have yet to find any ethanol at a hardware store, I tried everyone in chicago. But everything you say is true

On a side note, though denatured alcohol could act as a cheap version of ever clear the manufacturers realized this and added methanol (which if ingested is a neuro toxin and causes blindness - so no home made home depot moon shine

I am already meth dependent

Just running boost juice and was wondering if pure meth allows more timing or how it makes more power over 50/50 mix

ECS. How much more timing using pure meth can you add on a adv. motor if you had the same motor without meth? Both boosted/same psi!!
Just a ball park figure will do.

I've found you can usually find all the meth you want in the nearest trailer park.
