Default Meth question

Just out of curiosity, guys who have meth injection on there vettes what do you do when you wanna take a long road trip with having to deal with needing meth and all? Sorry if it's a dumb question just trying to figure out for my personal choice of having a car I'd be daily driving and taking in road trips should I find a supercharged vette that isn't tuned with the idea of running meth. Educate me guys.

Your washer tank is about a gallon, and a gallon of meth goes a long way. If you were to run out, your car will be fine as long as you STAY OUT OF BOOST! Your low washer light will come on at about 30% left, at that point just keep your foot out of the pedal and look for a speed shop for more.

I don't take longer than 300 mile trips so hope this helps

Just don't lean on it hard if you run out.

I took a trip from Houston to Dallas for an event last year. I filled the tank with one gallon and brought along two extra one gallon containers of meth. It was enough for the trip and a weekend of racing.

This is the only thing stopping me from running 100% meth. I run boost juice and if I am going on a far trip I just take a couple gallons with me. I feel better taking boost juice along than I would pure meth.

Depends how you drive, you use 0 meth while cruising or normal acceleration (up to half throttle) so you can take a nice trip and not use any. When I went to the track I drove 100 miles each way did 4 passes and used maybe 1/4 gallon for perspective.

Have a nice trip.

On another note, how much meth did you guys use last summer, April-November? I went through a 5 gal jug, I emptied the can just before for I put my car away, so really about 4 gallons. I drove 2000 miles total last summer. I am hoping to put on more miles this summer

Its what I run in both cars. Sold at every filling/gas station, coast to coast. 15% meth/water. If it takes the heat out of a maggie it should do the trick for you guys with the belted turbos.

I carry a gal of alky always with no problem. I have to hit
3000 rpm before it sprays. The alky is in a sealed container.

You leaving a fair amount of power on the table by using boost juice over pure meth. (just an FYI)

20-40 rwhp, I have seen over 50 rwhp from a 700 rwhp car. It depends on how much you are spraying amongst other variables, but I have never seen anything other then a substantial increase in power.

go to any wallymart / target and get a couple bottles of HEET. It's Methanol, and it's $1.99 per bottle. The rest is pretty simple.

I also keep a couple bottles in our other cars in the winter. A shot of HEET in the washer fluid keeps it from freezing.
