the dreaded chirpping
After 5 min chirpping is gone. Cold start its there. I'm going to mist belt to see if that's the culprit. If its loose. How do you tighten the belt up. I have a and a v2 si kit. Thanks.

That basically means that there is a pulley that is slightly off front to back, but not enough to make it jump. A belt rib is roughly .140, so you may need to shim a pulley .050 for instance and it will go away.
Now figuring out which pulley and which direction is the fun part. Hope that helps.

I had same problem. Belt only had a few thousand on it. Changed the belt and re-tightened and problem went away. The stealership put the belt on and it must have been a cheapo. Motor was starting to run rich as the belt was slipping so much. Have a procharger, but basically same setup.
