We have sold hundreds of KB BAP's over the years with only 2 failures in all that time. Just not common for a KB BAP to die. Other brands of BAP's I've seen fail more often.
What is way more common is for the Autometer fuel gauge or sending unit to start crapping out and give false readings. Put a mechanical fuel pressure test gauge on the rail to confirm actual pressure.

Stock rail pressure should be 58psi.
thanks I will check. I noticed it has slowly went from holding at 60 psi to 58 now around 56 57
