Lets talk Valve covers
nice ride! and way fast too just like it needs to be.
I took the plunge and bought the haltech ecm and some goodies to go with. love to get the egt setup too but I need to save up a bit more for that. hopefully I can get all this stuff installed this fall after croozin season ends
thanks for the link, very impressive stuff!
Congrats on the ECU purchase... I am sure you'll be very satisfied with the setup. Eric is extremely helpful and provides support well beyond the initial purchase.
Depending on your goals, be careful of the valve covers that enclose the coil packs. As I mentioned, I had them and heat soaked my coils to the point of failure. That just happened to occur after towing the car ~1,000 miles to St. Louis to race in an LSx event (during the T&T time shot session).
I was very lucky to find the NRE covers on display at the Scoggin-Dickey (http://www.sdparts.com) vendor booth, along with some coils, which I was able to replace before competition began. After that we went enough rounds to make a few dollars in the semi's of the Rumble series.
When I got back home, I quickly sold the enclosed coil valve covers and have stuck with the NREs for both function and aesthetic quality. I believe that 4DRUSH uses the same valve covers but not sure he also uses the coil cover add-ons -- less bling, more race
