Besides helping with belt slip, I went to a Dallas direct drive to free up the tension on the accessories and keep them at stock tension, then I can tighten up the S/C belt. I broke 2 pulleys at 2 different times with everything being so tight! Separating into 2 belts has been great for me!
14lbs on a 6 rib, no slip!
He is not going to see anywhere near that PSI. His car is a CA car that needs to stay emissions legal...did you not read anything that he posted?
There is no issue with the accessories...you must not know what you are doing. I have not heard of anyone trashing their accessories pulleys on the 6 rib.
I know a few people at that PSI on a 6 rib setup with no issues. One in particular was at that exact PSI for over 20000 miles.

I just stated why I went to a direct drive, I have no more belt issues, can't speak for anyone else! I also gained 1-2 lbs when I did!
I had my belt pretty tight and both the belt and pulley bearing blew up at 150+mph! Just didn't want to take anymore chances.

When I initially talked to the guys my biggest "want" for the Flip Drive was just to keep all the belts happy, not necessarily slipping. I chased squeaking belts for the first 9 months of ownership and I don't want to have to chase a few extra pulleys and belts
