Default Supercharged!!!!!

Alright I couldn't contain my joy. Josh sent me pictures of my car last night and I've been hearing supercharger whines all night. Hopefully, it will be done in the next few days and I'll have more pictures and some videos. BTW, the guys at A&A are freaking epic. Highly recommended.

Go with the 3.4 pulley from the get go, changing pulleys later will cost $$$

I can't run meth because of Smog. This will be Smog legal. I did a Secondary/8 Rib upgrade. I did just about everything I could while the engine was taken apart. Including somehow buying sway bars!

They do the take apart dance. I dont want to ever do that again! I did that with my MR2 and it was a nightmare and it still failed twice. This way I get it CARB legal, take it to a ref and get my sticker... then Ill start having some more fun because Ill be all good at that point.

Congrats on the A&A. I'll be getting one of those flip-drives soon.....

You can run meth and not worry about smog. Just use the windshield washer tank, and the kit is not even noticeable. I've never removed one piece of my Alky control kit..nor has any other of my 5-6 friends with supercharged Vette's

Ill look into that. I used my windshield washer tank in the MR2. Only issue was cleaning my windows

Congrats on the setup Matty! You will love it! I did have a question though:

Curious why you went with an 8 rib and flip drive? IIRC, aren't you running a V3Si with no plans for an upgrade? If that is the case, you probably could have saved a ton of money...you don't need either of them with the amount of boost you are running!

My old setup was a V3Si, 3.4 pulley, stock 6 rib setup, and 11.5 PSI. No belt slip at all! A buddy of mine ran a T-trim, 14 psi, stock 6 rib, and never had any slip either!

The guys at A&A gave me an awesome package deal and I needed all new pulleys (I had a bunch of squeakers and a big wobbler.) It ended up working out really well for me thanks again to Andy.

BTW: I love Boise. Gorgeous city.

Besides helping with belt slip, I went to a Dallas direct drive to free up the tension on the accessories and keep them at stock tension, then I can tighten up the S/C belt. I broke 2 pulleys at 2 different times with everything being so tight! Separating into 2 belts has been great for me!

14lbs on a 6 rib, no slip!

I'm digging A&A's version of the Direct/Filip drive. It's real slick.
