That would have been dumb. They had 20 more F&F movies planned
Apparently it's in the works. Also, allegidly, Some lawyer got some guys family from la joya a multi million $$ settlement on the same car.
However no amount of money in the world can bring family back and I think that a settlement if like the other one isnt going to affect either of these families too much. In other words they already have plenty of money.

How can you sue someone for buying a street legal race car, driving it to its limits on the streets, and running it into a pole?
They did it once, I am sure they can do it twice especially if it is in the same state.
I bet the argument is something like a reasonable person (highly experienced driver) shouldn't have to expect such a car to be as it is. Example, the Stig, Aka Ben Collins should be able to press the car hard without issue. He had issues repeatedly along with many other pro drivers. Porsche's own internal staff admits to its issues.

Because regardless of how much power or high performance function it has, the manufacturer still has a responsibility of ensuring the car is going to be safe. If that means adding some sort of traction control or ride/cornering stability system than so be it. No manufacturer can sell their factory race cars for street use exactly as they come from the track. The fact is Porsche knew that under certain conditions this car would wash out. They even have a solution to it yet failed to utilize it for whatever reason.
and I highly doubt they were pushing that car to it's limits

Hey, you people are missing the point. Paul Walker was a car guy. And from what I am reading, he was a pretty good person. The impression I am getting is that he didn't have a big head, he came from a pretty nice family, etc. It really doesn't matter what happened, two friends went for a ride and didn't come back. I think they both knew what they were doing. They were going really fast and the driver made an error. Thats it. I think a lot of us have done the same thing sometime in our lives and lived to laugh about it later. The point is that the world lost a two people on Nov 30. It makes me sad that good people die. RIP Paul Walker and Roger Rodas.
Don't know if it's been said but if you guys get a chance watch Takers. It has Paul walker and a few other stars. It's a awesome heist movie and great acting by him and the other cast members.
Wow, what a nightmare. I just tried to go to my office real quick to pick something up and every intersection around the crash site has been shut down by the cops. Hot imports lining the streets in all directions up to a mile away, a few vettes, camaros, mustangs as well. Helicopters watching from above.
Tried a short cut through Home Depot, the parking lot is full of hot cars. I didn't see more than 4 or 5 parking spaces open as I drove through.
