Over the last few days I've split up my time into wiring the gauges (boost / fuel pressure), and wiring the meth kit. Finished it all up tonight. Next I need to relocate my line lock and wide band, then interior is done. Getting there
have you driven it anymore yet to see how she does.
Drove it a bit last night, runs good Finished all the wiring but its a real PITA getting out of my driveway due to the 5" drop, hopefully they pave the street soon.
I also aligned the shifter and its a hell of a lot better.

5" drop? Wow. I think I'd break something trying to get over that
Mine just has a small change in slope and I still scrape every time. I've started wearing the bottom edges of the front valance covers from doing it so much, lol

Its rough, I had to put wood down to get in and out. Also I have no front bumper on so that makes it easier. Damn town workers dragging their feet.

Speak of the devil... I came home today to find that the state repaved the curb at my driveway, so I've got a 3" drop off now, plus the driveway and road slope different directions, so I'm pretty well screwed for getting out. I complained a few months ago because the snow plows had messed that area all up, so I guess they finally got around to fixing it
I guess I need to order some gravel now!

Damn
I tested the meth yesterday and found it leaking at the nozzle placement into the intake piping. The second washer was never used and I lost it, so I went to home depot and for $.92 now have 4 beefer washers with fiber backing. Just like the ones that came with the kit, but on steroids. In another thread neutron posted that he used some RTV on the underside of the exterior washer, so I did the same. Nice seal, and no leaks. Tomorrow I put back on the body panels, finally

I didn't use any sealant on my nozzles I just recommended trying it to see if it would help... I had my charge and inlet pipes powdercoated by a friend of mine and they are really smooth and glossy, not a rough texture like the ones ecs supplies so I haven't had any issues... I also put my washers on the inside of the pipe, it looked better for one and my nozzles seemed to tighten up better with them oriented that way... I have devils own nozzles so they are different from the standard alky nozzles... I also loctited them per a recommendation from a friend, he has seen them come loose and get eaten up by the motor
I put some sealant on the nozzle on mine too, sealed it right up. I tightened the crap out of mine so I hope it doesn't come off.. I also made the hole in the intake tube so tight I basically had to thread the nozzle into it, so I hope between those two things it doesn't get eaten

Identical to what I did, I also added loctite.
The front bumper and fender are back on the car. I had to trim more of the plastic under the car to make it all fit. Zipties FTW
