haha you were right...it was only making 7 lbs with it in and I didn't do all this work for a measly 7 lbs!

My MAP is reading 13.5# from 5k to redline, but the dyno is at 12.5#. Higher than I wanted but it should live for a while as its fat AFR with low timing esp. for meth.

What is the lower graph from? Before pulling the restrictor or something else?

Yes, graph shows the 7 psi and 12 psi pulls. I couldn't make more than 7 psi with the plate in.

Also its worth mentioning I am not the guy wearing purple in the video. He was annoying as hell during tuning trying to get his car worked on at the same time. Zero respect for me as I scheduled my time, and def annoying for the tuner.

You can grind the restrictor plate opening bigger, like 1/16" at a time to get the boost you want.

Good to see everything is working out great for you.

Good work! Glad to see it turn out well for you, sick ride! My car is there waiting for work to be completed, yellow Z06. Jason has been busy lately. Do you remember, we talked months ago on another thread?

Sure thing, I'll message you when I'm there for tuning.

I'd list the parts being installed but not on your thread. It's a common build

Hope your enjoying your ride!

I've been driving the car a bit, love it so far! Only issue now is traction. I have 305 R888 on 18" OEM Z06 rims, and keep spinning when I get over 10psi (5k-> redline), which at over 70 mph is a pucker moment. Once it warms up more I will try it again with some psi let out of the tires. As a back up I have some Hoosier DR's on 17" front Z06 rims.

Intercooler needs more air

Should arrive in 3-4 weeks, going to look killer on a black car.

Default Transmission is toast

Well I may be down for a while

While driving on the interstate I had a very vicious noise come from the trans while in 6th. Then it happened again, but the car drove normal afterwords. So I made it to the meeting spot but couldn't use 5/6/reverse. When I try to use 5/6 gears the car bogs down and needs much more power to drive, so I quickly stopped using those gears. Reverse makes a wonderful grinding noise and the car doesn't move. 1-4 drives perfectly fine but the car is sitting because I don't want metal ruining those gears.

The trans is a very old stage 4 build RPM unit that I bought second hand many years ago. This trans doesn't even have a serial number due to its age. Going to call RPM on Monday and see if I can get a ballpark $$$.

Bad timing, building a house and expecting a little one in November...
