I made my own, it came out decent but the guy that painted it did a shoddy job so the clear is starting to peel... the one LG sells is really nice but it is a little pricey... I will probably just have mine repainted at some point

Looks great I was thinking of making my own but then I saw the carbon fiber look and drooled uncontrollably.
Tore the trans down last night, ordering parts hopefully today (waiting on list from shop). Not as bad as we thought, hope to get back on the road in less than 2 weeks. I want to make it to Carlisle this year
Should have the trans back this week, going to reinstall this weekend. Also having a boot fixed on my axle, and replacing an axle seal while I am there. Going to run Royal Purple syncromax as recommended by RPM.
List of stuff to do (HAS to be done before Carlisle, but the sooner the better):

Finally some progress! Installed the diff, transmission, rear sub frame last night. Next is to pop the axles back into the diff and work on suspension (tonight). Should have her running this week
Do you have the axleback portion of the exhaust installed? I usually throw those on top of the rear cradle before raising it back up just so I don't have to monkey with them later

def not bad to finish up. I didn't install the axle back yet, but with a lift its a 30 second job. If I was working on stands I would have, its a PITA without the car feet in the air.
