Default Gauge question

I have a three Gage bezel coming in for my C5...what do you guys typically monitor on a supercharged engine?

Also, I am thinking of ordering digital gages...unless there is a particular reason that you guys think it would not be a good choice...most like personal preference but perhaps there is a technical reason to stick with analog.

Thanks,

Kevin

I've been using the prosport gauges for a while now. Mainly for the warning feature. They are good quality from what ive seen and are pretty darn accurate from my personal experiences. The warning feature is programable (flashing gauge and an alarm) which was the selling point to me since it's hard to watch a gauge during a pull.

I'm using their fuel psi and boost/vacuum guage, no experience with their wide band.

Oil pressure gauge works well from factory, so aftermarket I use boost, two air fuel, and fuel pressure.

i suggest a gauge with memory or warning. you will NEVER look at a gauge during a pull, just doesn't happen.

i use plx gauges, they are stackable so you can use one gauge for multiple perimeters. i have 2 gauges, 1 covers boost, FP, afr... the gauge has memory so after a pull i can see what happened, it also logs it as a graph.

the second is a obd II gauge that reads the stock computer so i can see all the stock perimeters along with use it as a code reader.

Prosport doesnt show a digital Fuel pressure gauge? are you using the oil pressure as the fuel pressure?

same here, their fluid pressure sensor says not to use in fuel cause it will corrode.

I called them about that, they said its only in there as a warning for legal purposes. It's perfectly fine.

I really like the styling of the ProSport Evo gauges, but you dont get Peak/Alarm functions unless you go with the 60MM Premium versions. This wont work with 52MM Gauge pods.

I guess I'm gonna go with Innovate Motorsports MTX gauges.

Yup, my fuel and boost both change colors when they below/above desired range.

Old video but, you can see my fuel pressure gauge drop and go red(lowered based pressure and didn't tell the gauge) but....you get the idea.

AUTOMETER "NEXUS" ...but, I think they're discontinued.

Honestly, they match the stock cluster so well, I think they're awesome. Few bugs though since you've got one big module. All of the gauges plug into it. Cool setup...I think one or two gauges has an issue if I remember correctly. Gonna fire up the car next week, we'll see what works.

Thank you for the recommendation! I reviewed a bunch of gages...I liked a couple different manufactures but this one appeared to have the best price and style combo that I liked. I was able to get the EVO Series 52mm, A/F Kit, Boost kit, and Fuel Pressure kit for a total of $355 with shipping. I had to shop around but buy from 2 places saved me about $90!!

Most guys do boost and fuel pressure, and/or WBO2.

AEM makes a really cool Boost/WBO2 2 in 1 gauge too.

x2 They saved me already from a faulty fuel pressure regulator.
