Forced Induction for a 2004
I have a 2004 Lemans Blue, with 77000 miles, its all stock.
There are lots of threads out there on forced induction, (too many)
I'm wondering whats the best bang for the buck for a quality, complete system? Plug and Play.
This is my daily driver so I want it to last and not go crazy with boost.
Centrifugal or PD whats the easiest to install and keep the stock appearance.
What brand? procharger, A&A, Vortex ??
I'm just not sure whats available for a C5 today, any help would appreciated.
Thanks,
The install is straight forward but requires decent ability and will take 10-15 hours to do.
Blower 5500, headers were 800 I think, clutch was about a grand, tuning was 500. I got the blower clutch and long tubes installed for 2500 which I thought was more than fair.

I wouldn't go back, to stock power, ever!
Depending on how much you want, C5 can drive normally when SuperCharged, and then it's nothing like normal (stock), when you nail it.
Two years ago, I decided I wanted to UP the power again, and talked to Andy again. A&A had it for a while, then called me and said it was done and tuned. I picked it up on Monday. On Tuesday, took off for a 1500 mile road trip through Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, & Utah, without a moments hesitation, and it drove like a charm, never missed a beat.
I haul chicken crap fertilizer home in my C5 from HomeDepot, and humiliated a Porsche 911 recently who thought he'd 'beat up' on this old C5 out on the open road. He didn't even want a 2nd chance...
Give A&A a call, and tell 'em what you want.

If you're going to supercharge the car I wouldn't say headers are absolutely necessary, you may be able to get by with stock clutch for awhile if you are on the street, but I'd add a methanol kit and you'll want a wideband gauge in the car
