Alternator starting to squeal
After 10 years of the Novi being tied to it she is starting to make noise. will quiet down after 15 min. Like to here the bad luck good luck on new alternators. Wondering just get a new dealer one since it lasted so long or is an Auto Zone same ****? I have Nappa and all the other popular places. Or do I order Rock auto? Thanks in advance

I would have yours rebuilt or go with a new GM one. If you use Napa or Auto Zone.. you will end up with a charge system fault. There are many write ups on the forum about this
