Hi guys looking at picking up a second C5 Z06 for a driver project car, wanted to do a blower as I already have a na monster for the road course. This one has this blower don’t know what vintage or what it is.

It's Vortech's own kit that was discontinued a longggg time ago. Finding replacement parts for it when needed wouldn't be an easy task and it's not the most efficient or effective setup. I'd be looking for something with an A&A or ECS kit on it or buy a n/a Z06 and slap one of these kits on.

Thanks for the reply, yeah looked like a old kit
The rest of the car is a little ruffer than I have time for, I have so many parts from the race build I’ve been looking for a easy fix, salvage car as a project but not to big of a project 😂

That's the really old Vortech C5 kit with cog belt jackshaft setup. I usually tell guys to remove that system and go with our A&A kit. Once you needs parts for that old kit, it becomes an issue.

I just purchased an 04 Z06 with the same kit. I agree it's older and outdated but it is a V2 S-trim so it can make a decent amount of power. I am going to try adding a bigger coolant reservoir and pump for the aftercooler. These were supposed to be more efficient than air to air up to moderate levels of boost and with a bigger tank you could add ice at the track. My long block is stock so I don't plan going more than 7-8 lbs. Not much info on these systems but I'm not ready to throw mine away yet. It actually pulls pretty hard, definitely faster than my cammed hard top that trapped 116 in the quarter.
