Direct Drive
When do most of you guys switch to a direct drive. Is there a certain horsepower level? Or just when belts become an issue! I have had issues with belts even after I Lazer aligned on a 8 rib. If I go to tight it chews up my alt bearings.

If you are chewing up alternator bearings it's time for a Secondary Drive kit. We use factory style auto tensioners keep the 4 rib and 6 rib accessory belts the perfect tension. Then you can crank your short SC belt nice and tight without damage to the accessories.
