I would look at the new offerings from HP tuners and EFI-live. Both include scanning and tuning. Both support GM specific high speed protocols and both will support analog inputs like Wideband and boost.
They both have current products, but the next version of both products appears to be a huge leap forward. The big change on the scanning side is the inclusion of analog inputs, which you really need to do serious tuning.
Firstly, if you think you can do, then do. We'll hear from you again in a few months that "my #7 piston grenaded and I don't know why." Oops the AFR was 12.5
Secondly, the tuners I have spoken with here on the forum have said , given their preferrence they would rather tune a car on a dyno than just using a stock tune they have had success with as each car is different.
Thirdly, if you spend enough time here you'll see lots of bad experiences form guys that tried to cut corners or felt they knew enough.
Forthly, It's not bad info I'm spreading. It 's a warning for others who may think you can slap a blower on and race down to the track.
Finally, It's just my opinion that's also shared by many others.
No hard feelings. It's your dollar.
This guy just wants help, is this not what he wanted. I m sure he did not want to here everybodys opinion. I know hes doing the best he can with what he has in his country. Not every country is as Horespower crazy and into all the tuning as we are. If he did have it tuned on a Dyno buy the people we wanted he would have to ship his whole car over here for an hour or two of tuning. I m sure with that said its still cheaper to put in a new motor.
I use EASE... scans 68 functions of the vehicle (not all are important for engine managment) and gives you information on how the car is running. You can then make changes to the engine managment program by evaluating the scanning software info.

thank you very much for the reply ,, is it same as LS1-Edit??

it's so hard to ship my car over there . i'm doing my best to tune my c5 i have ls1 edit,i'll get scaner tools . and go to dayno in kuwait . 4h way form my home .
i ran my c5 last week , it's going ok , with out and KC OR KR. i put a falsh file for pcm for less .
I've seen folks pay $500+ for worthless tunes over and over, myself included. Bite the bullet, spend the time and learn what needs to be done. If you want to know it's done right, tune it yourself. I did and would NEVER do it any other way. The tools are readily available.

EASE is the scanning software that tells you what is happening with the car. LS1 Edit is the program you will need to make the changes to the computer. One would think that somebody could make one program that would do both...
Somebody does... HP Tuners, http://www.hptuners.com . Their package will scan, edit, and program. The upcoming 1.5 release will even log data via a wideband O2 sensor. HP Tuners is leaving LS1 Edit behind, quickly. The licensing scheme is also much simpler. They have a great forum and are very responsive to user feedback and suggestions.
thank u very much for the reply and great info my friends.
