Has anyone dealt with this company? Or is this another deal like incon with vaporware?

Not looking to start a flamey thread.. just wanted some honest opinions if anyone has run it

Doh.. sorry i didnt see the other post going before i posted this always search first...

I got mine 2 mos later than expected. However, I was also kept in the loop though, I was sent numerous pictures too. Seriously I have been through R&D before and it just takes times. 4 mos is nothing compared to 9 mos. It has taken 2 years just to get the ATI issues resolved because they did poor R&D and released a product with serious Quality Assurance/Quality Control methods. I was the PTK donor for the C5 TT and got my car back this weekend. For further examples, look at how long it took Manusson to get an Intercooled version and look at the Kenne Bell SC thread. R&D takes time, don't let anybody ever tell you different. The good news is, I don't think anybody else will have to send PTK a C5 for R&D, maybe a C6 but they are done with my car.

Great company / product or not I'm not prepaying in cash for anything that runs upwards of $10K. Credit cards offer recourse if you run into problems..

Whats the deal with the mustang kits? Is this the kind of service we can expect if we order the C5 kit?

I paid on a credit card..but never had any problems. Sounds like a couple of issues on the Mustang board with some parts. Could be real. they sounded like they were being sincere, let me be sincere, I didn't have a single problem with PTK. This is the third R&D project I have been through with a C5 (ATI, TTi, and now PTK). So far it has been the least headache.

There were 3 or 4 kits PTK sold before my car left their shop. Maybe those people that ordered can give an update on how things are going. I know that for me its all good. On a different note didn't I see you on another posts trying to buy the TTiX kit or something??? I forgot what Forced Induction system do you currently have?

Shinobi,

I don't have an FI kit yet. I live at 5k ft so N/A is not going to do well at this elevation. For me FI is the only way I am going to get some power where I live. I have been patiently watching this setup, the TTI and the TPS twin setups that are coming out now. I like the design of the PTK the best, but you can't argue with the #'s that the TTI is putting out either.

I am concerned with situations that come up with stories like on the mustang boards. I am sure that PTK has had their mustang kits out for a while. I don't understand why it could possibly take that long to get someone a PRE-PAID kit. I'm sure everyone remembers what a nightmare people had with Incon and the F-body TT kits.

It would be nice to have someone from PTK come on this forum and respond to the issue.

Hello Guys,

My name is Dalton I am the customer service rep for Pro Turbo.

You guys do not have anything to worry about. We build some
of the best stuff in the market and we have a huge demand for
our products.

In three years we have sold over 600 mail order turbo systems.

Have we always been the fastest No. Have we always had the
best quality YES.

Take in mind that we went into an industry that had nothing
but a bad wrap. Have we made mistakes in the past, of course.

Have we learned from them yes, Have we grown YES.

Are we done growing NO. We will continually try our best to grow
into a company that will be the ultimate solution in turbocharging.

Everyone that calls me gets the same explanation. We have 3 full
time fabricators. They are able to process around 4-5 kits a week.
Depending on how many orders come in, determines how much of
a wait time there is for our product.

In the past 2 years we have experience explosive growth. That at
times has proven difficult to deal with.

We have many things in the works this year that will boost our
product line, wait time, and most importantly customer satisfaction.

If any body has any questions or concerns with our ability then feel
free to give me a call personally.
