Glad to hear this, the GSD3 are my 1st choice in the very near future. Then the Pilots, and Khumo's if budget is an issue
I have the GSD3's also. But my next set of tires may be the TOYO Proxxies. The TOYO's have the same tread pattern as the GSD3's and are much cheaper. My friend runs a major tire store and thinks that the TOYO;s are probably as good as tire as the GSD3's but at a much better PRICE. Might take a chance on my next set of tires. I still love the GSD3's. So the decision might be a hard one.

As was mentioned in a previous response, the GSD3s exhibit incredible longevity. Be careful of cheap tires that some claim claim they are "as good as GSD3s". You may need to replace them twice as often - there goes all that savings. My wife learned the hard way with Sumitomos. The appeared to be very good tires, but wore down very quickly.
I have driven my C5 with the GS-D3's several times in the rain. Especially hairy is when driving the commute lane, in the rain, in the dark in the S.F. Bay Area. No complaints with wet or dry weather grip and very happy with these tires on an autocross course. Not as good as the "R" tires but better than most of the other brands.
Not that I would, but I wonder how this design would fare in the snow. Probably without many horizontal cross-tread blocks would not fare very well.
