I shopped around for various seats, and found these, dollar for dollar, the best seats for my Vette, and purchased mine about a year ago.
At first I was hesitant ordering them, as the sport seats don't look comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised to find them more comfortable than stock!
The sport seats bolt right into the stock cradles, so you still maintain the power and memory function of the stock seats. It took me just under 2 hours to install my seats, with simple tools.
The leather used is top quality, and surprisingly durable. I've had mine for 8 to 9K, and there still aren’t any visible signs of wear on the leather.
Now there are a few points you should be all aware of when you order these seats. The sport seats as you can see have a very aggressive side bolstering. I'm a size 34 pant, and find them comfortably snug. I can see a size 36 fitting in them comfortably, but would be concerned about anyone with a larger toosh. Seats are also about 1" taller than stock. I'm 6'1", and can fit comfortably with my helmet. Anyone any taller may have issues with the height.
Below are pics of the seats.
Remember, you can order them in a variety of colors, and not only the leather, but also the stitching. I had mine stitched in silver to match my silver Z.....

Here are mine when I picked them up at Carvaggio.....
Here are the seats in his Widebody Z06...
You can see the customization that went into these.

Yes, you can get them with pretty much unlimited material/color choice (within reason, something totally out there could have an extra charge).
Though I've never seen the install instructions, I installed my own BK harness bar which required me to pull the seats, 4 bolts and a power connector and they're out!
Seeya!

Is it $1400 for Two?
Can you get different color inserts?
Can a moron like me install these?
Thanks
My FRC did'nt come with power sport seats, so will they just sit right on my stock rails?
The last question. How upright will you be? They look very straight up and down, that looks uncomfortable. I mean it looks from the photo that they are at a 45 degree angle. Could someone who has them chime in and let me know if they can be purchased with the back adjustable?
