It is probably just me, and I will probably get banned for this, but oh well, life goes on. I am on several different forums about different subjects. Why are the moderators here so rude and sarcastic to the very people that make up the forum? If most people walked into a store and was talked to the way these mods talk to the members here, they would just walk out.

Gee.....I haven't experienced the situation. Most if not all of the mods were (I believe) forum members prior to becoming mods so I would suspect they have a high sense of Forum Customer Service. We're not a shy group thats for sure, and this type of communication (posting text) sometimes may come across as unintended, but again I haven't seen the rudeness. Maybe you should talk with one of the mods and give a specific example. Good Luck

with C5BlackBeauty. Try contacting the moderator(s) in question and see what the story is. In my limited dealings with a moderator, I have found that they are very helpful. I have found that when you put something in writing, it may come across totally different than what is really meant.

I've been around here since 2000 and never experienced anything bad enough to make public here on the forum. I might not agree with all the decisions, but it is a free forum and my choice whether I want to stay around here or not.

For what it is worth, I would suggest taking your concerns "off-line" (PM or email) to discuss your concerns. It will be much more beneficial to you in the long run. These types of threads typically will be closed which I am sure will make you less happy than you currently are.

Give them a chance to explain. I think you will find that it is not as bad as you think!!

Good luck!!

They won't discuss your issue, whatever it might be, in public. This thread has no chance of survival in C5 General.

The mods also have a moderator. His name is Jim Willis (AKA: SAVEWAVE). Talk to him.

You rarely hear of competitions to see who can get in before a lock on other forums.

And anytime a thread is locked, it is usually accompanied by some some sarcastic remark by a mod. I cannot be the only one who has noticed this here.

Just don't see any reason for the sarcastic responses from the mods. I would say that most of the people here are succesful adults who earn a good living or they couldn't afford the cars to begin with.

Not a good idea to publicly call out the mods, you should have gone to the source to try and work out your problem. You in trouble now sucka!

I think that a lot of problems and issues could be avoided if people would take the time to read the forum guidelines and follow them.

I believe that the moderators are simply doing their best to keep posts where they belong, on topic, and devoid of hijacking and personal attacks.

There is alot of great interaction here. Everbody needs to simply follow the rules.

there is a time and place for this thread, once it is moved to the correct location (and then your time starts) you should have the answer you are looking for.

Oh yeah... In Before The Lock is kinda like a joke around here.. people know something is going to get locked.. and they post it... It is much like all the animals running from the scene just before a major earthquake.
