Ok, I originally agreed to buy one of the first built. I am willing to buy 2 if I have to. I just want this Da#n bumper. I'm serious, put me down for 2 if it will help this along.

Wicked 98, with this option, you'd couldn't put a plate on the bumper you commented on unless you covered a good part of the opening in the middle. I'd like to avoid that cause I think that it would just look bad if you covered that part.
American HP, that's awesome. I'm going to try and send out an e-mail to all parties interested with the option of 1) fiberglass if we have 10 people now (I think we're close) ($500-$600) or 2) polyurethane later if we get 25 people... but we're a ways from that ($750)

Someone suggested that I make a prototype first--I just don't want to shell out cash and make this a big business investment--this is more fun then a business opp... Sure, I will get a bumper out of the deal cause my car will be the prototype, but I'll also go without my car for a month and I've already spent many hours doing research, talking to body kit makers and so forth... Mainly, I'd like to see this idea take off and if its successful, do some really cool things for a complete kit with shorter rear fascia (not killed like the C6), exotic side skirts, wide body kit and possibly a few other things but that's all a dream right now...

That looks Great! I like how you rounded everything including the splitter opening and made the lower part of the splitter thicker!

it wasn't derived from a ferrari .. the front end was inspired by the c3.

so if anything ferrari stole the corvette design.

HAHA! Stinkin' Italians stealin' American design tactics! J/K... I don't know if I'd go so far as to claim that the Italian car makers are biting American design but if you go look at the Enzo's air inlets in front, its imaginable that its took some inspiration from the C3...

Good job to all who participated in this rendering [/QUOTE]

Neablas (and fellow CF members of course)
#1 Hey, I'm looking at this one again and I see potential for a blend btween this one, the Corvette C3, Ferrari F50, and McLaren styles... Do you see what I see?

and then there's the (#2) front end that I've been describing to you--looks closer your original drawing with the lip gone and the edge softened more like the way VillanC5 did it.

I think #1 has potential to be more exotic looking and #2 is more modern looking...

Default awsome vision

I like the #2 version with the soft lines, that is really different and interesting. As far as looking like a ferrari...i couldn't care less..its still very cool..

I very well may be interested in one of these, preferrably not a fiberglass one though...as long as it doesn't turn out like the lastest full frontal view(yuck),i don't know what happened there but it lost its appeal to me!!

As far as the rear facia , I would like to see a nice spoiler integrated, not so much like the specter works version, which looks kinda ducktailish to me, but like the rk sport version.the problem with theirs ,imho,is that they added length to the facia and sorta "boxed" or "squared off" the taillight openings. plus, you must use a different exhaust system.

also,i think metal louvers(chromed or stainless for me) are the way to go,others could paint them

Keep up the good work!! and watch that head on view..lol

keep me posted when you get close to production!!

Here's a front view that Neablas did earlier with good sizing for the shapes. Now take this pic done by Neablas (he put this together really quick), imagine it going back in just a bit as it goes down, a little flaring out at the bottom edges, the air inlets with a little more depth and we're getting pretty close.

And this one shows a good subtle color for the louvers if they were a dull metal

IN (I'd like to hear another confirmation from mukakC5):
drochau (poly only)
ProtoVette
garywurst
w8d4it (prefers poly)
MUKAKsC5
AMERICAN HP (Maybe one extra too)
mike76002
DarkShark78 (CAC)
Threed

On the fence:
Stellar112
FatBillyBob
javdaddy04
XcessiveVette and friend

On the sidelines or want to see the final product first:
zukupow
fiberglassfan (likes fiber)
99blackfrc
97C5inSD
jetvette01

As you can see, we're still quite far from polyurethane... can you send me an e-mail confirmation (not post) with name, address, phone number if you're interested and add whether or not you want in if we do it in fiberglass, if we do it in poly or if you are down for either. Lastly, we're still working on providing better pics... Thanks,
-Paras
